How can you choose which Android apps to download this November when there is such a vast selection of fantastic games for Android phones available in the Google Play Store? If you’re anything like us, you’re all too familiar with that regrettable download feeling. But don’t worry, with our hand-selected collection of the top Android games on the market, we’re here to put an end to it. All of them will keep you occupied at home or while you’re out and about. The majority are free, some are inexpensive, and several are fantastic to play online with friends when you can’t get together in person. Many of these games require an internet connection to play, but we’ve also compiled a list of the top Android games that can be played without one.

We tried to select a good variety of game genres from the Play Store, including first-person shooters (FPS), role-playing games (RPG), platformers, racing games, puzzle games, strategy games, and more. This list should have at least one game that meets your gameplay requirements. We’ve also selected the top iPhone games for you, but if you prefer to play games on an Android tablet or phone, you’re sure to find something you’ll like here.

The Yellow Baby

The Infant in Yellow on TL Android Games features a cute but unsettling baby in a cot.
What could be more spooky than the worst babysitting job ever at this time of year to play a genuinely eerie, immersive horror game? The adorable yet unsettling infant features entertaining ragdoll physics, and there are intriguing hidden trinkets that reveal a number of spooky mysteries. The Baby in Yellow is a must-play for the Halloween season with five chapters to go through and plenty of puzzles to solve – just beware of the jump scares!

ScourgeBringer

The fast-paced free-moving roguelite platformer ScourgeBringer is an amazing must-play on Android, from its retro aesthetics to its indie vibes. You take on the role of Kyhra, the deadliest warrior of her tribe, in this post-apocalyptic setting as she sets out to destroy ancient technologies and find salvation for humanity. ScourgeBringer is well worth the registration fee, and then some. With its fast-paced combat system, souvenirs from previous explorers that may be collected to reveal mysteries, and otherworldly soundtrack, it is possible to slash and fire your way through ever-changing dungeons.

Dicey Dungeons

Whether or not you played Dicey Dungeons on the PC, this Android deck-building roguelite offers you the chance to experience what it’s like to be a big walking dice. You are a dice that has been dropped into a dangerous dungeon that is full with strange cartoon foes that you must fight with dice rolls. The game is never boring, with a large range of levels and skills to keep you entertained for months. Combat is turn-based and furious, and there is an excellent deck-building system to help you level up and locate better prizes.

Square Valley

Looking for a portable, bite-sized puzzle game? Square Valley includes brief yet engaging levels, no adverts, and no in-app purchases. You may play it offline or in one-handed portrait mode. As the Spirit of the Valley, it is your job to create distinctive areas that will satisfy the demands of your residents. This is done by placing over 150 different, distinct tiles—such as homes, farms, animals, and so forth—into your world. Roads, fences, rivers, etc. must connect these tiles as well. The arrangement of your tiles is crucial since the relationship between them determines how many points you receive. Because there are restrictions on which tiles can go where, you’ll need to think ahead. There is a ton of replayability in this game thanks to the randomly generated levels, as well as a scoreboard for a competitive challenge and sandbox mode, which provides you with a unique level based on your game choices.

Reject

In the sci-fi-inspired future racer Repulze, you control an experimental hovercraft. With a fantastic sci-fi narrative about a bad corporation and synthetics, you can fly at insane speeds through roller-coaster-like tracks, win time trials, and battle AI opponents. There is a lot of value here with seven hypersonic hovercraft to pick from and 24 exhilarating routes. Repulze is an exciting ride once you’ve mastered the controls and courses, but it takes some time.

Supertype

A word game with a twist is called Supertype. This game is all about the letter shapes, not trying to make words. Over 100 exquisite levels that were meticulously hand-designed are included, along with a soothing soundtrack for a zen-like experience. The Play Store listing for the game doesn’t reveal much, but this is the general idea: There will be a variety of lines, dots, and empty places in front of you. Select a few letters, then click the tick to make them move. Your objective is to connect the letters to the dots, which calls for ingenuity, experimenting, and frequently a little (calm) annoyance. Supertype is a peculiar little game, and the difficulty of it adds to its appeal. It’s also quite exciting when you figure out the solution.

A Tale for Two, Tick Tock

In the devilishly smart co-op puzzle game Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, you are locked in a mystical clockwork universe and have to work against the clock to figure out puzzles and escape. But there’s a catch: The game can be played locally or remotely (remote play requires a voice connection), with two players playing concurrently across two screens. In order to solve the puzzles, you’ll need to pool your resources and collaborate with the other players as neither person has the entire picture – instead, you each have half the clues on your screen. To play the game, you’ll both need an Android phone or tablet. You can play the game with friends across platforms on iOS as well.

Pocket Camp for Animal Crossing

You can select your own camper, lodge, or campsite in this calm small sim and customize it however you like. Choose from more than 1,000 pieces of furniture and more than 300 items of clothes and accessories to outfit your camp with furniture that reflects your personal taste. Over 100 animals will be encountered along the road, each with a unique personality. Your friendship will develop if you finish their tasks. Seasonal events are another opportunity to complete unique chores and gather themed supplies for your camp. Although Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a free game to download and play, there are in-app transactions that may be easily disabled if smaller children are playing.

Kombinera

If you simply can’t get enough of solving puzzles in a creative way, you must play this retro-style tiny platform puzzler from Atari. The idea is rather straightforward: Control numerous colored balls and combine them into one while the environment you’re in uses cunning traps and dangers to try and wipe out the balls. You’ll need to be mentally sharp because all the balls move at once, making it difficult than it sounds. Every corner is filled with dangerous dangers. However, each ball has unique qualities that may be useful in assisting you in overcoming challenges and resolving puzzles. This game offers a true challenge with over 300 levels that get harder as you progress, and the retro-style neon graphics and electronic soundtrack only add to the challenge. Additionally, Kombinera has a very rich, moving plot that makes it well worth the purchase price.

iOps Infinity

The Android cyberpunk first-person shooter Infinity Ops has a vibrant neon city street.
Want to engage in PvP battle with other teams or hunt down adversaries on your own in a dystopian cyberpunk setting? The setting of Infinity Ops is a time of interplanetary conflict in the far future. It looks excellent and performs even better as you take on enemies and other teams with a large variety of weapons, from laser machine guns to plasma rifles, amid its wonderfully bright, neon-strewn cyberpunk 3D graphics. Even jetpacks are available so you may fly through the air! Create a clan and invite other players or friends, use gravity to increase your speed and agility, and pick from a variety of classes, each with their own special skills and perks. It’s free to play and a ton of fun to play this sci-fi first-person shooter.

Mobile Apex Legends

The renowned touchscreen-optimized tactical battle royale shooter is now available on mobile devices. Although there is no crossplay with the console or PC versions, Apex Legends Mobile offers the most sophisticated battle royale combat on a smartphone. In this free-to-play shooter, which takes place in the Apex Legends universe, you may form a team with up to two teammates, engage in multiplayer competition, and take part in fast-paced FPS, TPS, and combat action. A big cast of Legends, each with their own special skills and abilities that you’ll need to master in order to prevail, are also available. These Legends come with a wide range of exotic weapons and equipment to pick from, including nearly any rifle you could ever desire or need. Take on opposing teams in PvP fights, team up with other players, and struggle to survive in a world that is always changing thanks to live events, new Legends being introduced all the time, and new maps appearing all the time.

Shadow Legends raid

One of the most played dark fantasy RPGs for Android is called Raid: Shadow Legends. You must assemble the forces of Light and Darkness to cooperate in battle to preserve the world in this Teleria-set game. Build up the strength of your team and face off against strong opponents by selecting from over 400 warriors and 14 playable factions. There is much to keep you occupied, including dramatic boss fights, a PVP arena where you can compete against other teams, and a stronghold that you may construct and improve. The extensive map features 12 large areas for you to explore, all beautifully depicted in 3D art. You cannot afford to miss Raid: Shadow Legends if you enjoy role-playing games.
